AMRG Assistive Mobility Technician Certification, offered by Assistive Mobility Repair Group (AMRG) and made available through U.S. Rehab, recognizes a technician’s dedication to the betterment of the assistive mobility/CRT industry through quality service to the client and confirms their ability to perform repairs and service on a variety of assistive mobility equipment.

AMRG offers two levels of certification, Assistive Mobility Technician and Master Assistive Mobility Technician.
Assistive Mobility Technician requirements:
Assistive Mobility Repair Technician (AMRG Certified Tech) requirements must be completed in the 12 months immediately prior to submission for certification:
- Documentation of 10 hours rehab technician related continued education in the form of CECs or CEUs
- Documentation of factory training by manufacturers of the products supplied by employer, which may be included as part of the required continued education
- Documentation of 2,000 assistive mobility repair technician work experience hours
- Successful completion of the AMRG Online Exam, which consists of 120 questions completed in a single session and with a passing score of 70% or higher
- Signed copy of the AMRG Code of Conduct
Master Assistive Mobility Repair Technician (AMRG Master Tech) requirements:
- Current Assistive Mobility Repair Technician certification
- Documentation of 6,000 assistive mobility repair technician work experience hours within the 3 years immediately prior to submission for AMRG Master Tech
- Successful execution of the AMRG On The Job Training Model with oversight and validation by an AMRG Master Tech
The Assistive Mobility Repair Group Certification package must be completed within one year from the date of purchase.
